Fibermaq will participate for the first time in the Congress of Industrial Management and Aeronautical Technology (Cimatech), an event scheduled to take place on October 17-19, at the School of Technology (Fatec) of São José dos Campos (SP).
According to Christian de Andrade, director of Fibermaq, the company will reinforce at Cimatech the disclosure of the machines produced by Autometrix, a US manufacturer of automated systems for cutting special fabrics and prepregs.
“There are several opportunities for this type of equipment in the aviation market, one of the main consumers of glass and carbon fabrics which reinforce the composite parts,” said Andrade.
In Brazil, Fibermaq will distribute Autometrix Advantage, Radium and Argon lines. Quite intuitive and able to import Drawing Exchange Format (DXF) files – which can be generated by popular drawing software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks – the software maximizes fabric utilization, which is very helpful when working with expensive materials, such as those used in composite parts.
