Fibermaq, Brazil’s leading company in composite molding equipment, confirmed its participation in the II South American Congress of Composites, Polyurethane and Engineering Plastics, an event that takes place on August 15 and 16, in Buenos Aires, Argentina – organized by Artsim, the company that promotes Feiplar.
In addition to presenting its complete line of composite molding equipment at the event, Fibermaq will also look for partners interested in distributing its products in South America. “We already supply machines and accessories from Brazil to several countries in the region. The idea now is to enter into continuous distribution agreements, supported by a package that includes guaranteed regular supply of spare parts and the provision of technical support services,” said Christian de Andrade, director of Fibermaq.
One of Fibermaq’s flagships to attract South American distributors is the Evolution series, consisting of spray-up, gelcoat and RTM injection machines. “The Evolution equipment privilege robustness, ease of operation and the high control over the entire process.”Another product that may attract attention is the recently launched Gel Tank, a machine that makes the external and simultaneous application of gelcoat and peroxide. “It is the ideal equipment for manufacturers of composite parts who still use spray gun with inverted cup.”
Companies interested in distributing Fibermaq equipment in South America will also be able to negotiate various types of accessories, such as rollers, blades, choppers and rubbers.
Founded in 1978, in the city of São Paulo, Fibermaq is a pioneer in the manufacture of equipment for molding composites, epoxy and adhesives in general. During this period, more than 5,000 spray-up machines, gelcoat application, RTM injection and filament winding machines, among others, were sold by the company in Brazil and throughout Latin America.
In 2016, Fibermaq was elected for the fifth consecutive time the Top of Mind of the Composites Industry in the category “Equipment” – organized by the Latin American Composite Materials Association (ALMACO), it is the industry’s main award.
